Chandigarh: In a proud moment for the education fraternity, Dr. Seema Biji, a distinguished educator and social impact leader, has been honoured with the Bharat Gaurav Samman 2026 by the Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art. The award recognises her exemplary contribution to education, leadership, and humanitarian service spanning over three decades.
With more than 32 years of excellence, Dr. Biji currently serves as the Principal of Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, a position she has held since 2019. Under her visionary leadership, the institution has witnessed remarkable growth in academic standards, innovation, and holistic student development. A CBSE Resource Person and Master Trainer, she is also a respected researcher, mentor, and author of a book on Communication Skills and Personality Development.
A Ph.D. in Education, with postgraduate degrees in English and Education and a DELF B1 certification in French from Alliance Française, Dr. Biji is a multilingual communicator fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and French. Her global outreach extends to her role as Chief Product Officer at UnlearnMe, a Canada-based mental health startup focused on emotional resilience.
Deeply committed to social service, she has led financial aid, mentorship, and emotional support initiatives, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and actively mobilizes scholarships for underprivileged students through the Lions Club. Recipient of numerous national and international awards, Dr. Seema Biji, guided by her motto “Yeh Dil Maange More,” is widely admired for her humility, warmth, and unwavering dedication, making her a true pride of the nation.
